Περιγραφή
Used concentration/evaporation system (evaporator). Previously utilized for separating water from a surfactant. The system’s throughput for this process was approximately 8–12 m³/day of water and surfactant mixture. The system was built by Ecotecno in 2011/2012 and was decommissioned in April 2022.

Process Description:
The evaporator operated from 2012 to 2022. It distilled wastewater containing solids, reaching up to approximately 40% concentration of the total liquid. Based on the owner’s experience, the actual equipment capacity ranged from 8 m³ to 12 m³ per day. The system comprises a distillation (evaporator) tank S101 working under vacuum, a shell-and-tube heat exchanger (E101) operating as a condenser with wastewater pumped through by recirculation pump (P102). The tubular heat exchanger heats the feed liquid for distillation. The concentrate is then discharged from the system via pump (P103). Vapors pass through a plate heat exchanger (E102) and are directed to a collection tank (S103); both distillate and concentrate are removed from the system. Non-condensable vapors are evacuated by vacuum pump (P101) and directed to the vacuum pump tank (S102), where they are cooled via an internal coil.
This system can be described as a single-stage vacuum evaporator with a condenser. It includes a vacuum flash tank, distillate tank, vacuum tank, and a plate heat exchanger.
