CYLINDER AND HYDRAULICS:
The double-acting cylinder is equipped with a guide bush, a chrome-plated piston rod, and wear-free guidance elements. To prevent wear on the piston rod, the presses feature a removable and replaceable pressure plate. Alternatively, tools can be mounted instead of the pressure plate. The ram is fitted with an anti-rotation feature, which is attached to the cylinder via a clamp and guide rod.
The two-speed hydraulic unit features automatic high-speed shutoff. A decompression valve for the cylinder is also included as standard.

ELECTRICS AND SAFETY:
A SIEMENS SIMATIC S7 1200 safety PLC is supplied as standard, together with a 4-inch MTP-400 touchscreen located above the electric foot pedal. This enables programming of the operating mode—either semi-automatic or automatic—as well as power, stroke, and dwell time for the upper cylinder. The unit can store up to 99 programs, with each recipe programmable across all relevant parameters.
The switch cabinet is fitted with a selector switch to choose either manual or automatic operation, and a key-operated switch for maintenance work.
Both electrical and hydraulic controls are implemented redundantly and are self-monitoring. The hydraulic safety block includes valves with electric position feedback to ensure the necessary safety.
Operation is via a Category IV safety two-hand control station.
To guarantee operator safety, fixed lateral safety guards with a 650 mm front opening are installed.
A hydraulic cushion or hydraulic ejector can be retrofitted as required.
The machines are supplied with an operations manual.
The presses of the CD series fulfill all essential safety requirements and criteria according to CE regulations.
