Not only processes all types of plastic waste, but also handles bulky materials like large bales and carpet pads with ease, without the need for pre-shredding. It represents the cutting edge in terms of efficiency. Thanks to its material-preserving shredding unit and optimized extrusion process, you can achieve your zero-waste production targets sustainably with X (all production waste can be reclaimed). Plastic waste is processed by a heavy-duty, low-speed shredding unit to preserve material properties with minimal loss. During this stage, a hydraulic ram pushes the material towards the shredding rotor. The shredder and extruder drives are controlled separately and automatically, based on load conditions. After shredding, the ground material is transferred directly to the extruder by a feed screw. Within the extruder, the material is melted to a uniform temperature and, if necessary, degassed. All components are positioned close together to prevent material oxidation and to make the best use of heat generated during shredding. In a single processing step, slowly rotating shredder blades granulate the plastic waste, and the ground material is continuously conveyed to the extruder via the feed screw. Large, thick, or bulky waste that fits in the hopper can be processed directly without pre-shredding. The control system ensures smooth start-up of all equipment components. After an unexpected stop, the system can be restarted in less than two minutes, even with a full hopper and extruder. The material level in the hopper is monitored continuously and feed rate is adjusted accordingly. Irregular loading of the conveyor is possible – the NGR control unit manages the rest.
