The LaserFLEX is equipped with two automation modules – one for loading and one for unloading – allowing for decoupled feeding of a laser cutting system. After cutting, a fork unit lifts the processed metal sheet from the shuttle table. At the same time, a new sheet is transported from the connected storage by a vacuum unit. As soon as the new sheet is positioned next to the laser system, the unloader loads the workpiece onto the machine. This entire process takes just one minute. With LaserFLEX, downtime for integrated laser cutting systems is virtually eliminated, even for systems with high processing speeds, as they are optimally supported.
