ABOUT THE MACHINE The TESA Scan 50 plus is a high-precision optical-tactile shaft measuring system designed for the measurement of rotationally symmetrical workpieces such as shafts, turned parts, precision journals, bolts, and similar test components. The machine combines non-contact optical measurement with tactile probes, achieving a resolution of 0.1 µm for diameters and 0.5 µm for lengths. TESA (Switzerland) is now part of the Hexagon Metrology Group – a world-leading provider of industrial metrology solutions. The Scan 50 plus is typically used in QA laboratories, metrology departments for small- and medium-batch production, as well as in research and development.
