BRIGGS OF BURTON 1,200 LITRE

Unused process tank manufactured by Briggs of Burton with a capacity of approximately 1,200 liters. Constructed from acid-resistant stainless steel AISI 316/316L. The tank measures 1,200 mm in diameter with a straight wall length of 870 mm. Upper head is ellipsoidal, bolted. Lower head is ellipsoidal, welded.

The tank is designed for operation at pressures up to 10 bar/full vacuum. Operating temperature range: -20 to 210°C. The tank is equipped with a heating jacket made of acid-resistant stainless steel 304/304L. The heating jacket is suitable for operation at pressures up to 10 bar/full vacuum. Operating temperature range: -20 to 210°C.

The tank features a top-mounted frame agitator, made of 316/316L stainless steel and equipped with PTFE wall scrapers. Driven via gear motor, 11 kW.

In the lower head, the tank is fitted with an installed high-shear mixer/emulsifier, Silverson model BE600, made of 316/316L stainless steel. Direct drive, 22 kW electric motor. The entire tank is mounted on legs made of 304/304L stainless steel.
