The GIF kitchen ventilation ceiling is an active, fully integrated wall-to-wall solution featuring large exhaust and supply air zones, integrated lighting, and compensation surfaces—all with a build-up height of only 200 mm. Utilizing the ceiling void as a pressure chamber in accordance with VDI 2052, it can be constructed as either an “open” or “closed” system while maintaining maximized air-active surfaces. This enables the wide-area capture of cooking, frying, and other vapors, as well as extensive, turbulence-free supply air delivery, ensuring a comfortable indoor climate without condensation or drafts. The unique modular system’s fully reversible design offers exceptional transparency and hygiene.

The system’s unique modularity guarantees optimal transparency and hygiene, made possible by its fully reversible structure. On the supply air side, the GIF active cassette ceiling ensures large-area, low-turbulence air supply in line with the layered airflow principle, making energy-efficient operation standard. Thanks to its special geometry, even high air volumes can be supplied at low inlet velocities and without induction, ensuring balanced airflow. As the active cassettes for supply and exhaust air are identical, they are interchangeable as needed.
