Nozzles for external coolant delivery are installed at the spindle nose of the vertical slide. The coolant flows back to the coolant tank through transverse and longitudinal conveyors and is pumped from the tank through the nozzles as needed (M-function or switch on the control panel). Mechanical screens in the tank provide coolant filtration.
Optional:
For internal coolant supply (ICS), a high-pressure pump with simple filter system is provided. Once ICS is activated, coolant is pumped from the tank through the high-pressure pump and filter system.
