• The spindle was repaired in 2017 and has since mostly operated in single-shift mode; as we primarily manufacture single components and small batches, the machine has mainly been used for setup operations

Known defects:
Rapid traverse for the X axis has been reduced by 20% to extend the service life of the telescopic covers
The sealing ring for pallet change is probably defective, resulting in an oil leak. As a temporary fix, we installed a ball valve in between; when we need to change pallets, we open it. This is not needed very often.
