Robust and durable steel construction in a form-fit connection – no torsion-prone construction, such as split design of bending head and mandrel carrier. Maintenance-free electromechanical drive for the bending axis. The control’s touch display allows for simple and intuitive programming and operation of the system. After feeding in the pipe, it is clamped in the carriage’s chuck, ensuring precise positioning of the pipe and thus enabling the creation of dimensionally accurate geometries. Standard features also include a control of the tube geometry before the bending process: if the bending process is started at the wrong position, the machine will not allow it, preventing incorrect operation. Optional additional features provide more comfort and increase output and therefore the system’s efficiency.
Data transfer from the optional pipe calculation program TBS-3D (PC version) is via USB stick or via FTP access from the computer to the machine control. USB or LAN socket (RJ45) are standard. Existing pipe geometries can thus be quickly and easily converted, for example via STEP format.
