Drum dryer Agromech M-829 with chip stoker for feeding fuel to the furnace.

The drum dryer is equipped with a coal-fired furnace, adapted for burning wood waste or sawdust briquettes. The entire drying process, as well as the regulation and control of the drying agent temperature, is carried out semi-automatically and managed by the dryer operator.

THE DRYER IS COMPRISED OF THE FOLLOWING MAIN UNITS:
- Coal furnace with thermal insulation, adapted for burning sawdust briquettes and wood waste.
- Sunken slat-chain wet sawdust feeder, smooth speed controlled by an electric inverter, featuring a metering system for precise supply of raw material.
- Insulated loading chamber.
- Thermally insulated 9.00 m long drying drum.
- Discharge chamber for dried material.
- Main dedusting cyclone with feeder.
- Main radial (centrifugal) fan.
- Control cabinet with temperature measuring and monitoring equipment.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:
1. Nominal dryer capacity with initial wet sawdust moisture content 40-45% and final 15% – 1,000 kg/h
2. Amount of evaporated water – 1,100 kg/h
3. Maximum thermal output of solid fuel furnace – 1,000 kW
4. Maximum drying air temperature at drum inlet – 600-650ºC
5. Average fuel consumption:
- Hard coal or similar calorific fuel – 200 kg/h
- High-calorific sawdust briquette – 250–300 kg/h
- Wood chips up to 35% moisture content – 250–350 kg/h

The dryer was manufactured, assembled, and commissioned in November 2022.
