Our universal lathes and variable speed lathes in the PREMIUM CU series are equipped with a wide range of features and accessories for customers across various industries.

The PREMIUM CU series enables precise adjustment of cutting speed to suit the material and turning diameter – particularly advantageous when machining non-ferrous metals, plastics, and for achieving perfect surface finishes on precision and interference-fit parts.

A notable highlight is the R/L control units mounted on the tool slide, which allow for easy selection of spindle rotation direction (right/left). This replaces the conventional change-over shafts typically found on universal lathes.

Electromechanical spindle brakes provide efficient handling and ultra-fast spindle stop. The leadscrews are equipped with overload protection.
