Wear-resistant brake unit, automatic length adjustment for potentially varying abrasive belt edges, dust extraction system controlled in dependence of workpiece, disconnectable, counter-rotating abrasive belt.
2 Pressure Beams with Selective Pressure Control System – CSD® System
Continuous adjustment of individual pressure element force, suitable for single and multiple feed. Distance: 32 mm. Workpiece tolerance compensation up to 2 mm via maintenance-free pressure magnets. The working width, as well as start and end of sanding by the pressure beam, are set electronically.
Pressure elements are actuated by lifting electromagnets capable of continuously varying the force of each sanding pad as the workpiece passes through the machine. This innovative CSD® technology guarantees always proportionally equal pressure in relation to the pad’s overlap on the workpiece. The risk of breakthrough on the edges is virtually eliminated by this dynamic, continuously variable pressure control.
